Directions

  • CAR: On highway A44 (Amsterdam-The Hague) take the Leiden exit into town. (From the A4 take exit Leiden, follow signs for Katwijk. After approx. 4 km you will come to a T-crossing. Go right and follow signs for Leiden again.) Then take the Hospitals (Ziekenhuizen) exit (left). At the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), follow the signs for the Poortgebouw, the 120-year-old main building of the former Leiden Academic Hospital (see photo). Press the button and the barrier will go up.
  • PLANE: You can reach Schiphol Amsterdam airport from any point in the world. A very convenient way to reach our office is by train. The train station is right under the main terminal, Leiden is just 12 train-minutes away, and our office is a 1-minute walk. In the main terminal, follow the TRAINS signs and take any train marked 'Leiden' (4 times per hour). (You can, of course, also take a taxi.)
  • TRAIN: Get off train at Leiden Central Station. Take LUMC/Hospital exit. With the Leiden University Medical Center on your left, our building is right in front of you. Walk halfway around it to the main entrance (see photo). We are at the - what we call - first floor. (In some parts of the world this would be the 2nd floor.)
  • BIKE: Park it anywhere, but make sure to lock it. Leiden is a university town!
